Every year on the last Sunday of July , the small California Delta town of Courtland hosts the Delta Pear Fair to celebrate the local pear harvest. There is a parade, a food court, music, fun run, classic car show, arts and crafts vendors, children’s events, and, of course, pears. Courtland is located on the Sacramento River, about 20 miles south of Sacramento along Highway 160.
